Andrew Edlin Gallery will present a selection of exceptional works, drawn in part from the Paris-based Bruno Decharme Family Collection. Decharme is the founder of collection abcd, whose recent gift of over 900 works to the Centre Pompidou comprised the exhibition Art Brut (Summer 2025) at the Grand Palais. Among others, the booth includes works by Henry Darger, Martín Ramírez, Edmund Monsiel and Madge Gill, whose work will be the subject of an upcoming solo exhibition in São Paolo at MASP (March 2027).
The presentation will also feature two paintings by Abraham Lincoln Walker (1921-1993), an enigmatic self-taught artist the gallery reintroduced to a wider audience in 2024. An epic painting by Joe Coleman, whose work has been displayed in Paris on numerous occasions, including group exhibitions at Halle Saint Pierre and a solo show at the Palais de Tokyo (2007), will serve as another focal point; its proximity to Darger's work is especially fitting given Coleman's renowned 1998 portrait of the artist.
